1) CORE is designed to teach you the theory and fundamentals of the 3D VFX workflow in the most clear, concise, and captivating way you've ever experienced. The curriculum is broken into 3 parts, with video lessons in each part.

Part 1: REAL TO 3D

Part 1 encapsulates how to capture footage of the real world and recreate it in 3D with Blender. This includes matching the camera movement, surface geometry, materials, and lighting using special tools and techniques.

Part 2: ADD THE VFX!

In part 2, we'll add in our VFX elements! Creating great VFX assets requires many skills from 3D modeling, texturing, animation, and more. We won't dive into these topics since there's already so much to learn. Instead, you'll get high-quality VFX assets ready for you to use, customize, and learn from (more on this in the VAULT section).

Part 3: 3D TO REAL

Finally, in part 3 we'll seamlessly blend the 3D scene back into the real footage. You'll learn professional rendering and compositing techniques to make amazing VFX shots that will leave everyone speechless.

As part of the CORE curriculum, we'll study 4 VFX shots designed to be different in very specific ways so you can understand important nuances of the workflow.

Each VAULT project focuses on making one VFX shot and includes multiple videos where I walk you through every step of making the shot in realtime. I'll explain what I'm doing so you won't get lost.

Most VAULT projects come with custom VFX assets made for Blender - all free for you to use in your own work!

Some VAULT projects will incorporate pre-existing free assets, like the car and plants, which we've modified with certain effects and animations. These models are already free to download and play with! They are not being sold as part of the course, but are included for your convenience.

All the extra files for the lessons are present in the package except RAW footage from ARRI, RED, Sony and Blackmagic websites. All the links are included in PDFs attached to lessons
