CHR0MA v1.2 Win/Mac

CHR0MA 本质上就是“色相/饱和度”,但更出色。
在传统色相/饱和度工具中,仅仅旋转几度色相,色彩就可能变得过于霓虹化、单调且俗艳。降低饱和度时,画面也可能完全失去对比感。色相/饱和度工具常常产生浑浊、噪点多或不讨喜的结果。通过采用 Björn Ottosson 的 Oklab 色彩科学,可以获得好得多的效果。
我们眼睛感知色彩的方式很复杂。重要的是,色相会影响亮度。例如,明亮的黄色明显比明亮的蓝色更亮,尽管两者都处于最高“强度”。创建一个能够解释这一点的色彩空间对于获得高质量结果至关重要。sRGB 做不到这一点,但 Oklab 可以。下图是 Oklch 色彩空间的可视化方式(Oklab 和 Oklch 是由不同变量定义的同一色彩空间)。

CHR0MA is a replacement for Hue/Saturation that uses Oklab color science. It has an improved layout and creates better results.
CHR0MA is the same thing as Hue/Saturation but better.
Colors can feel too neon, too one-note, and garish after just a few degrees of hue rotation. A composition can lose all sense of contrast when lowering saturation. Hue/Saturation often creates muddy, noisy, or unappealing results. Using Björn Ottosson's Oklab color science, much better results can be achieved.
The way our eyes perceive colors is complex. Importantly, hue affects luminance. For example, bright yellow is clearly lighter than bright blue, despite both being maximum "intensity." Creating a color space that accounts for this is important for quality results. sRGB does not do this, but Oklab does. Here is a way to visualize the Oklch color space (Oklab and Oklch are the same space defined by different variables).
Oklab is becoming an industry standard and is already built into Photoshop gradients. This plugin makes it accessible for After Effects and Premiere.
